I've Sworn Off Meat

After Thanksgiving dinner, I wasn't feeling well. I've known for a while that red meat makes me feel like I have the flu. But, to top it off, I helped my mother debone the ham and turkey…

It was absolutely horrific!

I was nauseous for HOURS! All these thoughts ran through my head. My papa had said earlier "Get rid of the bones, they have the most disease and bacteria.." and freelee had said "You are shoving bread into a diseased ass and eating it!" My mind was a whirlwind all night and into the next day…

On a daily basis, I cannot eat:
  • dairy of any kind
  • red meat
  • canned meat
  • white bread
Unless I want to feel like I'm dying. All seriousness.

So, I realized, my body WANTS me to be vegetarian, its been yelling at me all along!

Today is day 2 of no meat. My only exception is shrimp and tuna as I ween myself off the american diet.

I've tried going vegan before, I honestly could not afford it, not a chance. But, I can do my best for my body and my soul and shun these things out of my life for good. No one would choose to feel bed ridden every single day, its time to wake up.

Do you have any negative side effects from certain foods? Let me know in the comments below:

About That Tutorial

I filmed the mini hat tutorial….but I hated it!
It seemed like I rushed through it, the material looked awful…I would never wear it!

But, things are starting to straighten out, so hopefully I will have enough money to put more effort towards my videos and crafts and things!

I am currently playing with shrinky dinks, and listening to "Punk goes Christmas" on spotify. I don't know what I'm doing with my life right now, I'm kind of lost today. Its almost like I don't know how to be me, its weird.

In other news, I'd love to put cool things up in my store, so get this:

+ I have a T-shirt press (my uncle shares with me)
      - I don't have the money for the paper or ink
+ I own 2 different sewing machines
-Not enough material to sew anything
+ A bunch of acrylic paint
- Nothing to paint

See the issue? HAHA its so ridiculous.
You know what I've been doing for the past few weeks? Trying to keep the house clean, a fucking impossible task!! Every time I turn around, its messed up somehow…I'll spare you the details.

So, I am sitting with grams, I don't know how to entertain her because she hates me right now, any noise I make she yells at me LOL. Its funny, but I really don't wanna keep her pissed off all day. Its after 1pm and my man is still in bed…MY LIFE RIGHT NOW, THO!!!!!!!

IF ONLY I HAD FRIENDS!!!!!!!
I HAVE NO FRIENDS….even if I did, I'm sure none of them would be patient with my obligations and what not.

Just wanted to let ya know whats up, and say HI!!

 Sorry I suck.

Are Mini Hats Cool?

There was a point in my late babybat days when all I wanted was victorian themed everything!

I wanted the velvets and the canopy bed, the poofy dresses and chamber pots…well, not so much the chamber pots, I enjoy my modern plumbing! But the cute little hats and big hair was very attractive to me, it was all I could think about…

I made my own little hats and I was so proud of them! The fact that I loved them, I thought everyone else did too…

I made so many, these aren't even half of them…

But, to my shock and disappointment, no one else had much interest in them. A few friends would wear them to make me happy, carebear loved everything I made. So, just the two of us would parade around in my little top hats.

I had given up on them for a while…4 years+

But, this past halloween, I wanted my top hat with my outfit…I didn't have time to put the clips on it. However, it did inspire me to show everyone else how I make mine.

VIDEO COMING SOON!!!

Post-Halloween Blues

Considering how unhappy I was yesterday, my post-halloween blues are not as intense as I imagined they'd be.

But, if you are suffering from after-halloween saddies, here's a few things you can try:

  1. If you are goth, remember that EVERYDAY IS HALLOWEEN!
  2. If its the pretty lights you miss, hang your christmas/holiday lights early
  3. GET OBSESSED, dabble in your favorite things, find new things to go crazy about
  4. Create an amazon wishlist and post it on your social sites until someone sends you something lol
  5. Practice for next year, don't let all that makeup go to waste!
  6. Go take pictures of fall before its gone!!
  7. Catch up on all your favorite fall shows, I am!

These things have become routine for my mother and I.
For years we suffered from the halloween blues, especially when it sucked in every aspect.
So, we came up with a tradition:

  1. Drink lots of coffee
  2. Pack away most decorations
  3. Hoard the rest of the decorations
  4. Fall clean the crap outta the house
  5. Rearrange the living room
  6. Start Christmas decor!
  7. Enjoy
Of course, we are off to a rough start, its dreary out today and the breeze has brought a hint of doom with an icy caress. But, eventually it will get done!

I'm going to finish editing that video, then get my ass in gear for some holiday cheer!
